I fucking hate Joel dude, I fucking hate him sooooooooooo much. Not because of the monstruosities he tended towards before he was locked into a fucking prison chamber and very well deserved might I add. I mean, you can be horrofied by how much of a piece of shit he is, and how awful and completely vomitive his darker impulses were, but it can't quite drive you towards hating him. What really drives me towards personally and viscerally hating him with all my heart and soul to the point that I would beat the shit out of him if I had him in front of me, is the fact that, if he wasn't the monster he ended up being, if he was just a normal guy, I wouldn't hate myself for fucking loving Built For Blame, Laced With Shame, by far, my favourite piece of Get Scared's music and by far, one of the best EP's I've ever heard. Its actually insane how he is such an absolutely marvelous musician, everything about this EP leaves the rest of Get Scared's discography to absolute poopy pants shame. And hey, personally, I really like Cheap Tricks and Theatrics, but besides Sarcasm, I can't say the same about Best Kind of Mess or any other piece of this band's music. Joel was so much better than any of the other song writers the band has had, by far, no questions asked. That's what makes me so fucking mad at him, I personally hate him, because if he wasn't such a moron and a monster, he and Get Scared would've thrived beyond anyone's imagination, they would've been massive, huge, with how talented he is, I mean, just listen to this entire EP for god's sake. I really mean it, the same way Linkin Park and Queen wouldn't have rised to the extreme popularity they had without Chester Bennington or Freddie Mercury, I think Joel could've really strived the band towards greatness, and its very sad, because Get Scared isn't a bad band, at all, but they are mediocre AS FUCK, you can listen to glimpses of absolute brillianty here and there ocassionally, but something was clearly missing in their music, and that, I think, was good song writting, and Joel fucking nailed it, knocked it out of the park in every single way. This song, specially, is so goddamn amazing, its inconceivable that it belongs to the same band that has also delivered The Dead Days (that album sucks so much ass I'm not kidding). They would be up there with BMTH, PTV and SWS as one of the top dogs of the scene bands era. And that wasted potential is what drives me crazy about this whole thing. And what makes me hate Joel Faviere with a visceral hate, beyond any words I could write. R.I.P Get Scared.

Fun fact for the band: you guys could sue Tx2. Black Weddings lines 'he raised his voice at her and she screamed, its not by choice you dont love me' is the exact same tune as 'dont mind us we're just spillin our guts, if this is love i dont wanna be loved', just a few tones lower
